1. Information We Collect

SnakeSense collects minimal data to provide our services:

Photos: Images you submit for snake identification are sent to our AI service for analysis. Photos are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers after analysis is complete.
Sighting Data: Your sighting logs (species, location, date, photos) are stored locally on your device only. We do not upload or sync this data to any server.
Subscription Info: If you subscribe to SnakeSense Pro, payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information.

3. Data Storage & Security

All sighting data is stored locally on your device using secure storage. Photos submitted for identification are transmitted securely (HTTPS) and are not retained after processing. We do not maintain user accounts or store personal information on external servers.

4. Third-Party Services

AI Analysis: We use AI services to process snake identification requests. Only the submitted photo is shared with the AI provider for analysis purposes.
RevenueCat: Subscription management is handled by RevenueCat. Their privacy policy applies to subscription-related data.
